Yes, Fadale used to be the author. Yes, Fadale still works here. BUT! This is his busiest time of the year (like Santa Claus) so the Big Guy (like Santa Claus) has got to step to the plate.

Whether you know it or not, our goal is to make the Jamestown Savings Bank Ice Arena the central focal point for all things hockey related! From Sabres Alumni, to the new Jamestown Vikings. From the Fredonia State Blue Devils to the Erie Otters. From the Jamestown Lakers to the Steelers to the IceMen of Erie and players from Warren, Olean, Erie and Buffalo.

From Canada, Ohio and Pennsylvania. We want to be the center of hockey activity. we have been in constant contact with USA Hockey to improve our standing in the hockey community. We have already played host to two USA Hockey Coaching Levels with thanks to CCYHA's Andrew Hill.

We are currently helping to manage the ever-growing Sled Hockey program that helps disadvantaged athletes enjoy our sport. Last weekend the Arena played host to a Sled Hockey Summit. A USA Coach, along with US Sled Hockey star, Jamestown-born, Josh Moran joined sledders from Buffalo, Canada, Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Rochester for a full day of skills clinics, coaching exercises and fun competition.

We are proud to announce the FSU v Wentworth game coming up this weekend. And we will also be taking part in February's "Hockey Across America" weekend. Ironically, it falls the same weekend as CCYHA's Tim Hortons Winter Classic tournament, which is great!

Nationally:

Friday - all kid's should wear their jerseys to school.

Saturday - Bring a friend to the Arena Day

Sunday - Acknowledgement of your area Hockey Heroes

Locally, we plan on doing them all, plus FREE Skate n' Shoots, FREE Learn to Play Hockey sessions and more!
